Expertise
Where Business, Technology, Product, Research and Communication Meet
My work sits at the intersection of business, technology, product, research and communication. Over the years, I have deliberately developed skills across these areas because I believe that solving meaningful problems often requires more than expertise in a single discipline. My approach combines strategic thinking with research, analytical thinking with creativity, and ideas with execution.
Business Strategy & Consulting
I help businesses think through problems, opportunities and decisions with greater clarity.
My experience includes business planning, financial modeling, business valuation, business intelligence, market research and strategic planning. I am particularly interested in understanding how businesses can use information and strategy to make better decisions and build sustainable growth.
Product & Technology
I am interested in building technology that solves real problems rather than technology for its own sake.
I have worked on websites and digital products, from understanding the problem and defining the solution to development, content, testing and improvement.
Building products such as Pagia has strengthened my understanding of the relationship between users, technology, business models and execution.
Research & Market Intelligence
Research is at the centre of much of my work.
Whether I am exploring a business opportunity, studying a market, evaluating a product idea, or writing about an emerging issue, I enjoy going beyond surface-level information to understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what it could mean.
I am particularly interested in research that can move beyond information and become useful intelligence for decision-making.
Data & Business Intelligence
I enjoy working with data because it provides another way of understanding a problem.
My experience includes working with Excel and Power BI, alongside ongoing development in SQL, PostgreSQL, Python and data analysis. I use data to explore patterns, organize information, support business decisions and communicate findings clearly.
I am particularly interested in using data alongside business context rather than treating analytics as an isolated technical function.
Marketing & Go-to-Market
I have worked across digital marketing, content, market research, positioning and business growth.
My approach to marketing starts with understanding the customer, the market, the problem and the value being offered.
I am especially interested in the connection between product, positioning, marketing and customer behaviour.
Writing & Communication
Writing has been one of the most consistent parts of my professional and creative life.
I write both fiction and nonfiction and have experience creating business, technical, marketing, research and educational content. I enjoy making complex subjects easier to understand without stripping away what makes them important.
For me, good communication is not simply about using the right words. It is about making an idea understandable to the person who needs it.
Project & People Management
My background in HR and project management has also shaped how I approach execution.
I understand that good ideas require people, processes, accountability and coordination to become reality.
This experience has given me a broader understanding of how organizations operate and how people contribute to successful projects.
How It Connects
How I Bring It Together
The individual skills matter, but I believe the real value comes from connecting them.
And I continue developing the skills that allow me to move between these disciplines and approach problems from multiple perspectives.
